WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE ASA THUNDER
The ASA Thunder is a girls soccer teams sponsored by the Arundel Soccer Association (ASA) and are located in Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The team offers a fun and competitive learning environment focused on developing the girls’ core technical and tactical skills. For the Fall season, the Thunder will compete in the Elite Development Program (EDP). In the coming years the teams will progress through county, travel, and regional play.
The Thunder are coached and trained by Mike Connor. Coach Mike graduated from Ohio University with a master’s degree in recreation and sport sciences with a concentration in soccer coaching. He also currently holds both a USSF National “C” License and a USSF National Youth License. Coach Mike’s philosophy is to develop the girls’ soccer skills on the field and life skills off of the field, help them grow a passion for the game, and prepare them for the next level of play.

The Thunder host a number of tournaments throughout the year, including the Columbus Cup, Heat Cup, Ice Cup, November Cup, and many more. These tournaments are a fun, low cost way to begin an exciting new season, spend a holiday weekend, or cap off another successful year for your team.
